~ Congratulations Claire. I was listening to the live broadcast and gave a hearty hurray when I heard your nominations. In my opinion you are the best female vocalist in Bluegrass. Keep singing, you light up our lives. --RJ
~ Good morning Claire, and congratulations on the richly deserved nominations! In Lynn's and my own personal Hall of Fame, you will always and forever be a winner. You're so right about the wonderful community that is this music. We are indeed so very blessed. --MW, Winchdester VA
~ Congrats Claire! So glad your continuing Florida connection is garnering you well deserved praise. It makes me so proud, again, to have you on my Florida themed album and I notice that on Folk radio we often get played back to back - "My Florida Sunshine" from your album and then one from mine. Very nice - good luck in the voting! --D.Spears, Orlando FL
~ Claire, I have known you for a long time and seen you go through several musical incarnations and a host of accomplices, all of them unique and wonderful. Through all of this change there has been a constant, and that is you, one genuinely beautiful and classy lady with one genuinely beautiful voice and style. Thanks for stickin' to your guns all these years. WM, Florida
~ Congratulations!!! Look forward to many more Claire Lynch albums to add to my collection….I have them all so far! --CJ
~ A great tribute to the fathers of bluegrass. Claire, you say it so well. Lest we forget in our daily challenge to make it happen for us...thanks for the grounding. Take care. --PM
~Wonderful email, Claire. I love how you describe “the bluegrass life.” I’m just a bluegrass fan – not a picker – but I’ve always had the feeling that there really is something so special about “our” music: it’s the history, the people and places it comes from, the fan’s accessibility to the artists, and, of course, the music itself. I love “My Florida Sunshine” and the rest of your newest album. All the best at the IBMAs! Thanks Claire.--SG
~
Just a quick note to congratulate you on your song, My Florida Sunshine.........YUGO, girl!!
SO very happy to see my hero's name, Bill Monroe sharing the credits.......he was a gem......a diamond in the rough....... BJ, Whitesburg, KY
~ That's What Makes You Stong is one of my favorites on the Whatch Gonna Do album. I hope hope hope you win Female Vocalist of the Year. A sweep would be awesome! I am in the raffle to win IBMA tickets. What a treat to be there and see you win. My husband, three year old daughter Anjali, and I saw you in the basement of a church. I think you and your band were wonderful. Anjali still likes to body music slap thanks to lessons from your band pro. Good luck, good luck, good luck. --LS

Claire--No one deserves it more than you!
I remember I got to interview Earl Scruggs back in the 70s when i was writing for a local entertainment magazine. He played here at what was then the Great Southern Music Hall, or maybe the Florida Theatre, not sure which incarnation. Anyway, he was just the kindest, gentlest person. To me he seemed to be the epitome of the true Southern gentleman.
I'll never forget that.
Happy trails to you, my friend-- CD, Gainesville FL
~ I heard you sing "My Florida Sunshine" at the Wildwest Bluegrass Festival in NM. I think your cover deserves Bluegrass Song of the Year. Thank you for a wonderful time that weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing you perform again. --TG
"I had the great good fortune to attend your concert last night. I came for the Bluegrass and listened to so much more. I do not think a current label would hang on your style. It's unique and should be heard and not labelled. By the way, what do you call it?
Remarkable musicianship, arrangements, and performance personality rolls up into a superbly entertaining evening. You have earned three new fans. My brother, my best friend, and I were completely knocked out."
Ken Ratchford, Jacksonville, FL
"I can't imagine a better, happier band and Claire Lynch is possibly the warmest, most inclusive, sincere, most down to earth and engaging performer that I have ever seen."
Jim Collier, Raleigh, NC
"I will always hold (Claire) in esteem as one of the greatest singers I've ever heard or worked with."
Skip Ewing, Nashville, TN
"It is so refreshing and exciting to hear someone like you who stands out like a rare red rose among a bunch of daisies."
Ron Gouge, Atlanta, GA
"...Listening to your Music, I never know whether to clap or shout!"
Rocky Hill, Dayton, TN
"....I was pre-selecting songs for this week's show and thought about putting on "Sweetheart Darlin' of Mine"
After one listen...I couldn't stop...had to play it over and over just because I couldn't get enough of it. Claire if you'd have just been born a little earlier, you could have written all the songs for the Carter Family and stopped ol' A.P. from trampin' all over the country-side in search of great songs."
Brian McNeal
Prescription Bluegrass -- www.PrescriptionBluegrass.com -- Flagstaff AZ
"Your band performs like a well-oiled machine .... This level of performance stands out even among other great bands."
Pieter Groenveld & Liz Meyer, Strictly Country Records/ European World of Bluegrass
"...If the house were burning down and I had to grab three things before I bolted out the door that I knew with certainty would get me through the trauma, loss, and re-building of a new house, they would be 3 of Claire Lynch's CD's!!!
Friends for a Lifetime to inspire me and remind me that God is in the tragedy as well as the triumph.... Silver and Gold to snap me out of the self-pity and remind me that life is uncertain and I'd better learn how to swing through it, and that love is a safe haven and will carry me through....and undoubtedly New Day to bring home the fact that I will survive and end up on the other side of yesterday to cherish each moment I still have on this earth today.....
I have the pleasure of knowing the soul behind these songs and I have been captivated by her voice and her sweet spirit since I met her ...
New Day is a treasure from start to finish! I hear a unleashed strength, confidence and "back to my roots" sound in Claire's singing that I've never heard before...
"Old friend and BIG Fan"
Pam Daley, Nashville, TN"
"Love your songs, your arrangements and your feeling tone, especially the anti-pop country element..."
Joanne Weil Heald - Alameda, CA
:I have listened to and seen alot of live Bluegrass concerts but Claire Lynch has one of the most pure voices that I have ever heard in Bluegrass music. Her delivery of each song was so impressive! I love her song writing style and it is clear why other top names in Bluegrass and the music industry in general want to record her music. I am glad she's touring again and hope that she gets the acclaim she deserves w/ "New Day"- it's FABULOUS!"
Stacy H. Painter, Huntsville, AL
"...No voice in the universe could have brought these beautiful songs across the way yours did. Some people have a gift, you have a gift on top of a gift!"
