Fall Thievery

Well, it's officially Fall - just about everyone's favorite time of year. I heard a news piece this week about an apple orchard owner in Ontario having to deal with "pick your own" customers who are stealing apples and putting them in backpacks and strollers. Now he's banning such items from the picking area. Doesn't it feel like people's consciences are slipping away these days?

An "apple a day" is supposed to be good for you. But I reckon a stolen one is liable to turn sour in your soul.
